Women's RideTuesday nights at 6:00pm Saturday mornings at 8:00am
Our Women's Rides have been a great success and we are very excited to be able to offer two rides a week with Daylight Saving Time. We have set up three different levels of rides for all types of bike riders. We are also creating a variety of loops to keep the rides interesting and posting the routes on Loops at LiveStrong.com.
We will have ride loops ranging from a 10 mile cruise to Gulfport to a 30 mile ride to Weedon Island. Some of the loose ends are not totally sewn up, but I promise you, after years of Women's Rides, Michelle has a great system set up to get fit, meet people, and have a blast. Flat Class Our Flat Classes are held regularly. The class is free; however, participants will be responsible for having all of the proper tools for the class (tire levers, tube, pump/CO2 inflator, etc.). Please sign up early, since our classes tend to fill quickly. To sign up for any flat class, please email Rick or Lloyd, or call the shop at 345-5391.
Maintenance Class This class covers all of the basic steps to insure a clean and safe bicycle.
Richie will cover items from how to lube the chain to making sure your headset is tight. This is a great opportunity for customers to meet Richie as well as get more enjoyment out of their bicycle. Please email the Shop or Richie or call the shop at 345-5391.
Beach Ride
On April 30th, Richie Ely led our first ABC Bicycles Beach Ride. Please join us for the next ride. This ride will leave the shop at 6:00pm and head to Sloppy Joe's on Treasure Island with our cruisers, flip-flops, and casual attire "This ain't no training ride!" Although we do highly request that you bring and wear your helmet. We also recommend a lock and lights (safety first).
The trip is only 3 miles and it does go over the Treasure Island Bridge. So please join us and other ABC customers for some drinks, food, and a beautiful sunset. Please call the shop, 345-5391, with any questions or just to let us know that you are coming with us.
