The Maintenance Class will help you protect your investment and keep your bicycle running quietly and cleanly day after day. Some bicycles will still require expert servicing, but most basic adjustments and maintenance can, and should, be done at home. You will learn to properly take inspect, clean, and care of your bicycle before and after every ride. And, we'll teach you quick tips and secrets that will keep your bike running smoothly.
You do not need to bring anything. You will have the option of getting dirty, so you may want to bring a change of clothes or apron.
Flat Class - ABC Bicycles & Trek Bicycles (Classes will resume February 2018)
Learn how to change a flat tire! We’ll show you how to take the wheels off and on your bicycle and how to replace the tube inside the tire after it has punctured. You will also get some simple tricks of the trade that can’t be learned online.
The class is free, but participants are required to have all of the necessary tools to change a flat. That is: a pump you can carry on your bicycle, spare tube, and tire levers. Please bring your own bicycle.
This is a yoga class for you and me (the inflexible people) the ones that want to be comfortable in our own bodies.
As cyclists, our hip flexors, hamstrings, and glutes all get tight while riding. We need our core strength to hold us up on the bike. It's not a competition; it's part of learning how to recuperate from those rides. Bring a mat and a towel - it's FREE!
